Sotelo's Update
Article from: Sotello Family. We greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus. We want through these lines to share with you God’s kindness toward us. God, in his grace, has allowed us to raise churches in Zihuatanejo, Guerrero that is at Mexican Pacific. Last year, the three groups that were formed originally as three different churches were united in a single one, \"Church of Christ in Koinonia\". It has been a blessing to see the strength in unity represented through this union.
While we do the pastoral work here, this year God has entrusted us with the national coordination of CHE in Mexico.
CHE Comunity Health Evangelism is: Using the best in development practice for the accomplishment of the whole mission of the church.
Well, another issue that we want to share with you is this: God wanted to surprise us with something we did not expect now. In February of this year we were informed that we are pregnant. Now the baby is 21 weeks old and we have learned that it is a high risk pregnancy.
Well, we can say one more time, that God, like always, gave us many great blessings. One of them is to have your friendship and your prayers. We thank you very much all your prayers, your love and your support for us.
Our area depends heavily on tourist business, and because of the flu virus warnings we have almost no foreign tourists now. Please pray for wisdom and strength during these times of crisis and adjustments, and that the church may help in some of the needs in the families that are suffering the economic crisis here.
Please continue praising God and praying for Rachel’s and the baby’s health.
